Default Sharpened edges problem?

Hi!

A friend of mine phoned from a peak in Austria earler, bemused to find
that after getting her edges sharpened, the board was 'catching' and
'throwing her off'.

This sounded really bemusing but she assures me nothing else has
changed in her set-up.

Any ideas?

Tom

Sounds like they didn't bevel the base edge when they sharpened.

She's probably a skidder. She should take it back to the shop and get
them to detune the tip and tail a bit.

Thank you both for the replies; I spoke with Kate today and she went
back to the shop with these two suggestions.
Nice one!
Tom
