For those who inexplicably prefer winners who do not stem from
Trøndelag or who are not Norwegian, the list of skiers to root for
isn't very long: Justyna (on a good day on a course that isn't too
technical), Petra (on a good day in a classic sprint, if Marit takes a
fall), Aino-Kaisa (on a good day, when Marit is training somewhere
else) and, of course, Charlotte (whenever Marit DNS in a freestyle
race).

Petter Northug is a worry though:
Without him on the relay team cannot really compete. :-(

That isn't exactly frontpage news:-) But I wouldn't worry (unless
Petter does have mono, or something worse). Besides you seem to have a
couple of new names who can actually skate (and one of them is
apparently practically Petter's brother-in-law...), while we seem to
have new names who mainly make no impression on anyone.

Congrats to Sweden, they had a very good day on their home field (named
for Marcus Hellner!) today.

There is reportedly also a curve named after Saarinen - who fell there
during a leg in a relay two years ago. (Fitting, somehow.)

Isohunt got clamped down on in terms of links available to residents of
the States for much of this year, but seems to be ok now. Maybe Canada
isn't clear. Check PB directly. On the client side try something like
Vuze/Azeurus, if need be.

I've got a Denied Access message.

It seems this is a known problem relating to uTorrent and Win7 64bit.
We even have You Tube vids relating to it.

Is this a torrent phrase or just our guys saying 'let the big boys
go first' ?

By this I only meant 'let the guys with the more powerful PC's start
first', to build their seed files, so that we lesser mortals will
have more seeds to later download from.

What video codec is being used? They play on my computer, but on a
TV-connected Philips DVD player that accepts Divx/MP4 video, it gives a
video codec not recognized message. Same message when I convert the
file to .avi. Thanks,

Gene

That should be 'video codec not supported.' The audio plays.
Tried it with another mp4 video streamed off the internet and same
deal. Is there something being done differently this year than
last? Thanks,

Gene

NRK mentioned a few times a small hillock about km before the stadium,
just 5m high or less, which was supposedly named "Kalla-kullen", i.e.
the Charlotte Kalla hill?
