OK, I've checked out a few web sites and it seems that the skate rollerskis
are not sold with Speed reducers. Anyone know any skates that are sold with
the speed reducers. I am not too keen on running down the hill after skating
up it. I'd just prefer a continuous skating session.

cheers

Bob

Speed reducers are an accessory add on to jenex V2's

Maybe the product offerings have changed, but I bought my V2 Aero 150s
with speed reducers as an additional option.

I have the V2 Aero skis with very effective speed
reducers.

I know that ProSki does NOT have a speed reducer that
works on the urethane wheels on their skate-only skis,
but if you use their combi ski (with a rubber wheel),
you can add a speed reducer to those skis.

Also see http://www.nordicskater.com/index.html to check which models they
carry can have speed reducers mounted.

Hiya: New to this group, though I've been following the posts for some
months. I've been using V2 Aero 150's (love'em. I'm a tall guy -
6'2"/185-190). They came ,as Gene says, from Nordic Skater with speed
reducers which are VERY effective for me. Regards, Pete

Aeros 150 can come with speed reds. They can easily go down ~5% grade hills.
