Default Why black?

When seing snippets from the Swedish TV broadcast from D=FCsseldorf
online, I couldn't help getting curious on why the Norwegians where
dressed in black with only some logo on the thigh and the
manufacturer's name on the collar? Somewhat unexpected, so I suppose
there was some reason for it?

Not that it matters as long as a Swede is the first one to reach the
goal line... =3D)

I was just reading another forum (Swedish ice skating):
http://www.utsidan.se/vb_forum/showt...threadid=35049

There was a question about the legality of the ski bindings that
Mikael Östberg was using, with a link to:
http://www.nrk.no/sport/vintersport/...n/5168705.html

The boot/binding appears to taken from a klap-skate or
maybe it's the NIS binding mentioned on an other thread?

Aftenposten interviewed him, it is a regular clap skate boot special
ordered from the dutch factory, delivered without the skating steel
mounted underneath.

I.e. it can be ordered by anyone, so it should not fall foul of the
rules about general availability. He also explained that he was the only
swedish skier who _could_ do this, since he has neither boot nor binding
sponsors.
