Default Another board sizing question.... Forgive me.... :-)

Hello Everyone,

This is yet another board sizing question.

I am 61 and weight 162 pounds.
I presently ride a Rossignol 162cm Nomad Wide.
I have been riding now for 3 years.
Here in Ohio, conditions are usually hardpack or ice. (The Rossy screams
on this stuff, speed wise) Occasionally I visit NY, which can have 12
or more powder.

New board time.

The Sims FSR900 looks to be a great deal. Nobody can seem to give me
ideal rider weights for the board. 155cm seem to be readily available.
Would 155cm be to small? Would a 165cm be to big? How about a 161cm?

Help!

Thanks for your replies&..

At your height/weight a 161 is about right. More importantly for riding ice
and hardpack I'd definately recomend NOT getting a wide board. Wide boards
are slow and difficult to transition. A little tow overhang is ok
asd long as you can get to 60 degrees without your toe dragging. For
hardpack and ice I'd also recomend a more forward stance. Say 30/10 +- 5
