I think he meant he tried it in 3 conditions: *cold/dry, *38, and *25.

So far at 15 F and below, it's not worth using, I don't think. Because it doesn't work super for kick or (especially) glide and also because it's so easy to kick wax (for training anyway) when it's cold. For me, for training, there is actually quite a bit of leeway for acceptable kick and glide within normal hard waxes... meaning, I don't get obsessed with the nuances of temperature ranges when it's cold - "just use what's on there, it's probably OK for training" sort of deal, if I'm in a hurry, or, more likely, lazy.
