LInked to Les Arcs via the new Vanoise Express from Christmas. So
something for everyone if you can afford the 'Paradiski' rates for the
whole domain. Ok still not the size of 3V, but somewhere around 440 km
of pistes I think.

We've been to La Plagne for a few Christmases now.

Generally conditions have been good, with the exception of 2001, when there
was a lack of snow at the start of the week (resort 50% open). Otherwise, La
Plagne compares well with other resorts at Christmas - resort generally
70-80% open, plenty of good skiing at altitude although lower slopes can
become a bit scraped and worn during the week (take care if on your own
skis, otherwise fine)

We go back there regularly as it is an ideal resort for family skiing at
that time of the season.
