Default Driving to Colorado Resorts in Honda Civic - is it possible?

I am driving from Minneapolis to Colorado and wanted to know if
anybody has done something similar. It seems kind of sketchy driving
on I-70 with a 4-cylinder. Do I need special tires, or chains?

thanks,

It'll get you there. Oh maybe a few cars will blow past you every mile
or so, so be patient. M&S rated tires would be a good idea. If the
weather really goes to hell and chain laws are a possibility you can
always get some cable chains.
