Default Are Franz's chair and T-bars at Whistler ever open?

I was in Whistler last week, and they were closed, but it being early
season, other lifts were closed as well. It ocurred to me though,
that I don't think I've seen them open in any of my other visits in
recent years. Does anybody know what the story is on these lifts?
The Whistler T-bars at least seem useful in getting you over to
Harmony bowl w/o skiing down to the Red chair, and presumably Franz's
chair is similarly useful for getting you back to the Summit chair.

You were in my neighborhood, and you didn't say hello?
Of course not. That balls thing again. Might have gone up to
Whistler instead of Bachelor, just to watch the **** trail grow longer
as you ran away.

BTW, they run when there is demand. Franz's serves the terrain park
(never open until XMAS) and the T-bars run from this weekend on.

Well Scott, I was in Van for a few days beforehand for business
reasons, but I had no reason for diverting to Seattle.

Thanks for the information! Do you know when the Crystal Hut will
open up? I was so looking forward to a fully-loaded waffle, but it
wasn't operating during my visit! So disappointing. And I wanted to
ski all those "new" runs off to the side down to Whistler Creekside,
but they were closed too. When do they open?

Sunday was horrible (rain) and Monday sucked too, butTuesday was epic
- tons of snow, and they finally opened the alpine late. I managed to
get myself buried in a snowdrift or two on the Peak, and Harmony was
great also. That night, I had dinner at the bar at 21 Steps, and the
ski patrol was having its Christmas party there. Man were they
loud! I feel sorry for any couples who thought they were going to
have a romantic dinner there. But the party broke up early, and
suddenly - I guess when you're a patroller you have to think about
getting up at 5:30 AM to throw dynamite around.

PPppppppuuuusssssssyyyyyyyy. As usual, you didn't have the balls to
spew your **** in person, and as usual, you hide. Same old, same
old. Some things never change. Once a coward, always a coward.

Geez, I would have brought you a waffle.

When they get enough snow, idiot. No snowmaking until the runs
connect with Franz's down by the bottom.
Would have been delighted to meet you there. Ooooops, forgot. That
balls thing again. You've threatened my life, the least you could do
is try to make good on your threat. Ooooops, forgot. That balls
thing again.

To be honest, I wasn't even thinking of you!

There was full ski-out coverage to the Village from both mountains.
Looked like plenty of snow down to Creekside too, at least from my
vantage.

Dave you're wasting your time by speaking with a convicted felon, who
is one of the biggest pieces of scum known to humanity.

You think six inches is a mouthful.

Vote for Palin-Brown in 2012. Repeal the nightmares.

Merry Christmas everyone. God bless us all.
