Snow Pants
Anyone recommend any good snow pants?
I want it to be water resistant and keep me warm in cold cold weather. I want to order it online but afraid i might get something really thin - |

They are seriously thick and really quite heavy, really well made and designed. Also fit me well, even though I am 30-32 inch waist but 5"7 (ie usually hard to find ones not too long in the leg). These seem pretty high-tech, only thing is they may be a little too warm in France next week if the sun's out! |

I suggest you get yourself some good shell pants, a pair of polypro long underwear and a pair of fleece pants. Then you can wear various combinations depending on how cold it is. Neil |

They have their down sides - no gaiter, and velcroing them tight around a boot looks a little goofy, and my high-back has worn through them in one place and had to re-attach some velcro in others.
