Barking
I know I go on about this a lot, but the weather! Interesting to read that
the swallows are trying to spend the winter in Switzerland somewhere around Bern rather than pushing off 'down south'. By rights it should be real brass monkey temperatures, at the moments it's +7C at 2228m and getting warmer. -- Simon Brown www.hb9drv.ch |

Don't worry, it's going to start snowing heavily all over the Alps in a week
and a halves time for about 6 or 7 days[1]. [1] - The weather according to David Brown. -- kitemap http://ugcc.co.uk |

Just found a nice site about climate change in Switzerland:
http://www.climate-change.ch/ Unrelated to skiing but very interesting site about derelict London: http://www.derelictlondon.com -- Simon Brown www.hb9drv.ch "Simon Brown" wrote in message ... Brilliant site! It's worth following some of the links too - and a few of the US Urban exploration sites are pretty impressive as well. |

I wonder who's off on his holidays then :-) Well I'm affraid I am, but doesn't look good. I'm off in 1 week so I'll have a couple of days of 'No Snow®' then a few days of blizzard conditions. Hopefully I'm wrong and it will all start a few days earlier so I at least get some visibilty in good snow at end of week. BTW: any particular part of 'all over the Alps' or just everywhere all at once? Pretty much everywhere but more in the Northern Alps/Switz area. HTH ;o) -- kitemap http://ugcc.co.uk |
