Default SLC Rental Cars

Anybody have a decent weekly rate for a 4WD? I getting a good hard
fisting from the Avis/Hertz/Etc crowd.

Scumdance is in town so I think the fur-collar crowd might be habing
some effect.

Pigo? Klaus? Good old Ed? What's the scoop?

Enterprise has been the best for us when we decide to rent for some reason
or another. I rent to NOT have 4WD though, if I know I'm going to Phoenix or
LA or somewhere that I don't need my truck.

It is scumdance week though. Those wannabees throw money at people to
"prove" that they are really A listers. I imagine that they are driving the
prices up this week.

We're staying with friends in Parley's; last time the rental bounced
it's way down the hill after a snowstorm. I'm not repeating the
mistake.

There's always room at crApplebee's.

Try Advantage Car Rental. http://advantage.arac.com/google/advantage.htm

Best deal for SLC I could find.

I've had good luck with Alamo or National and sometimes Budget. Avis
and Hertz are too expensive.

I got a Jeep Cherokee from Thrifty for $428 a week including all taxes and
fees. Everyone else I talked to were well into the 500's.

That's in March, don't know if the near term rates are higher or not.

C.
