Don't spend your time in Chamonix. This Valley is on control by a
local mafia with french administration.
Don't by any book or magazine from Glénat éditions (Vertical,
AlpiRando, ...)
Don't take guides from the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix.
Don't Buy The newspaper "Le Dauphiné Libéré", you can just use it for
fire...
Don't Buy anythink in 3 S sports shops (Luc, Cocquoz, Snell)
Don't buy any equipement from Simond
Don't trust police or gendarmerie in Chamonix Valley, Mafia control
them.
Be careful with Mairie des Houches or Mairie de Chamonix, they have
people
specialise in catching houses, investment, shops, commerces, ...
Don't use Banque populaire des Alpes, this bank work with local mafia.

BE CAREFUL , YOUR LIFE CAN BE IN DANGER !

Uh ... okay. I wasn't actually going to do any of those things anyway (I'm
not entirely clear even how I might do some of them), but I'll keep that in
mind.

But le Banque populaire des Alpes has offered me free checking, a free
safety deposit box, and a free pair of skis if I make an initial deposit
of 10 Euros in an account! So I'm in a quandry. Tell me again why this
is a bad idea? Are the free skis Salomons or something equally
offensive? Will they try to make me ski with my feet shoulder width apart?
