Default Italian resorts

Anyone have any experience of Cervinia or Madonna di Campaglio? They look
quite different from what I've read, but I've not found any experiences
from a snowboarding perspective.

Not interested in nightlife, just the riding, terrain, snow, crowds, lift
queues, people's attitude etc.

Been to both, Madonna di Campiglio many times. The former I only spent a
weekend at, but from what I remember it had some long runs. The
Switzerland side was expensive (go figure). Madonna di Campiglio has few
foreigners, much shorter runs and a nice feel, but is not challenging.
Which to recommend depends on what you want from your holiday....

A good mix. I don't mind the runs being shorter as it means less time
waiting at the bottom for others. However, it'd be nice to have some
steeps without moguls or off-piste.
