Alagna / Monterosa conditions
Anyone on here been to the Monterosa area lately - I'm thinking of
going out in mid January. I hear conditions at the moment are pretty grim - all precipitation seems to be falling around the north side of the Alps. Any comments welcome. |

Sorry, I can't give you a recent report but I'm afraid I can confirm that Monterosa (and probably all of Aosta) does seem to get dramatically different weather to resorts only a few km away over the hills. We were there last season and didn't get any snow at all whereas Chamonix, the Tarentaise and Swiss resorts got pounded. Keep our fingers crossed thogh, theres still time for it to snow. |
