Not clear if the "Rotegg" glacier t-bar will be open though.

I fancy that, it's a couple of hours drive for me though, do you (or anyone
else) know a good (cheap) pension/B&B ?

Hmmm, I might be up for this myself - it's about 1.25 hours from here,
or 1.5 from home. Probably more tempted to just drive over on the
Sunday...

Hmmm, I might be up for this myself - it's about 1.25 hours from here,
or 1.5 from home. Probably more tempted to just drive over on the
Sunday...


I wondered about that but I've nothing to do on Saturday either, I might go
Sat morning and stay the night if I can find somewhere reasonable.

I think the Villages down at the vally are cheaper. Try
Wolfenschiessen there are some Hotels and Guesthouses.
Or ask the Toursit office at Engelberg www.engelberg.ch

Btw if you the first time at Titlis, don't expect to much, the slopes
are short on the Glacier.

And the availabilty of the Rotegg t-bar makes a lot of difference to the
amount of skiing.
That piste at least is quite wide.

When does the black piste to Stand typically open?

Depend on the snow. At the start of the last winter season( ~21. nov)
was it closed. But they open it at December.
