Default Snow in Colorado

There are now 4 areas open in CO: Loveland, A-Basin, Copper, and Wolf Creek.
There was snow every day last week. However the first 3 listed areas are still
reporting only one or two runs and one or two lifts.

Wolf Creek reports a 38 inch base and several runs and lifts open.

The next storm is due Thursday. Stay tuned.

Loveland is open! Colorado skiing rules.

TCS (also Chester) -- don't forget that reports like this are acceptable
in rec.skiing.announce .

Wouldn't that be considered "cross- posting"?

Just kidding. I don't even know what cross-posting means. And I certainly
don't know why folks object to it.

While we are on the subject. Winter Park got 8 inches new on Monday night and
they open on Wednesday (12 Nov).

There will be limited terrain - so limited that a friend with free skiing
access won't even bother.

Storm still coming on Thursday.
