clean fibertex?
I've been using fibertex on my skis lately - the grey stuff to knock down
fuzzies on new skis and the white stuff for a final buff. Seeing the obvious wax residue in the grey stuff makes me think - should I be very compulsive about only using fresh, clean fibertex? With the grey stuff it's easy - I can keep the gunked up stuff off the ski because it's easy to see the residue. I can't see the residue on the white stuff, but I know its there. Fiber tex is relativel cheap, so I can see buying a bunch of it and throwing it away, but I'm wondering if there's a way to easily clean it. Cam |

Cam I clean mine by putting them in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. |

As far as I understood the waxing process, fibertex is intended to remove fibers not wax. wouldn't it be better to brush (a lot?) more ?
