Need advice for Tahoe 01/23
I'm spending a week in Tahoe beginning this upcoming weekend. Where would
be the best place to go on Sunday to avoid the huge crowds? We are looking at Northstar, Kirkwood, Alpine, or Mt Rose. I'm assuming Heavenly and Sqaw are packed over the weekend. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

All the tourists are hungover, or sleeping in, or something; many of them never make it, those that do arrive late. If you get out early and manage your time this Sun won't be a problem anywhere. Enjoy your ski time. BTW, you shouldn't try to ski Heavenly and Kirkwood on the same trip as Squaw, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, etc - you'll spend way too much time traveling; unless you move Lake ends mid-week. But you know that. |
