Default Alta - Collins HSQ Angle Station

FYI, the following is a link to a pic of the new Collins HSQ angle
station.

http://ski.astropax.com/04-05/temp_a...-29-04_001.htm

The Collins HSQ angle station is at the approximate same location as
where the old Germania base was located (near Watson Shelter).

The Collins HSQ runs in a straight line from the Wildcat Base Area up
to the old Germania triple chair base, angles to the left at the new
"angle station", and then it's a straight shot up to Germania Pass.

You can only load onto an empty chair at the angle station (you can't
unload).

If there are no empty chairs, like on a busy day, then you would have
to ski down to the base to load.

BTW, no shortage of empty chairs today.

Astro,

Are there two separate sets of cables: one from Wildcat to the angle
station, and another from the angle station to the top of Germania Pass, or
just one continuous cable? I am assuming that the chair slows down at the
angle station, but then is it transferred to a new cable?

Regards,

Ernie
