Default Mass, Help

We have shied Butternut, Catamount, Bousquet. and Jimminy Peak when we go
for two or tthree days. Otherwise we go to Stowe or Sugarbush. These two
type of areas don't exit in Ma. However I am thinking of trying Bershire
East and staying in North Adams. Never having tried it is it worth trying,
even though I doubt it is as good as Jimminy or the late and lamented
Brodie. Would appreciate your comments.
Thanks

It's not a "resort", if that's what you're asking. It's a ski area,
1000 feet vertical and steep. No cruisers here. Base lodge with bar.
No disco, no live bands, no cute little faux-Tyrolean faux-village.
Just a basic ski area.

Where are you coming from?
