This is to announce a new web site about cross-country
skiing in and around the Ottawa area and the Gatineau
Park in Canada.

It is primarily aimed at people who are relatively new
to cross-country skiing, although information provided
on the site will serve as a handy reference for more
experienced skiers. It is a completely non-commercial
web site.

This site features detailed maps of ski trails in the
Gatineau Park and in the Greenbelt in west-end Ottawa.
It is rich in content and has a description and photos
of over 20 trails in the region. An online discussion
forum about xc-skiing in general is also part of this
web site, and there is an area where individuals can
post free ads for used cross-country ski equipment and
related items.
