Are there anyone that have been skiing outside North-America? Say, for
example in Russia/Asia or other less known places??

Hi. I decided to take January off, to go looking for the best snow in
the world (telemarking).

Anyone have ideas to where start looking?

Thanks in advance

You mean somewhere lesser known like the Alps? I imagine one or two here
have.

Yes, I will most likely live in France or somewhere close, for a good
while, so I will have the posibillity to ski alps almost whenever, so I
was thinking something a little less commonplace...

Wow! Thanks alot! This is a fairly complete list! And should give some
guidance of where to be able to expect snow. Did you make this list
based on your own experiences??

Just one I found on the internet. The numbers probably are not that
accurate. I live in Breck and that list says we only get about 20"
more than Keystone which isn't even close to being true. However, I
think the general order of the list is pretty good.

I trust you on that. Went to Whistler and Cypress last season, got
dumped on both places, truely amazing. Do you have any other tips
elsewhere in the state?

You were lucky to have good snow at Cypress. The North Shore Mountains are
very wet.

For great light powder I'd go to the Okanagan, about 4 hours east of
Vancouver. Big White or something.
