Even a person with your vast angry personal wealth could probably afford it, and, who knows, might even change your way of thinking... However, there are a large number of people who started from nothing with nothing jobs and improved their lot in life (like selling shoes?). These people having accomplished this task are often more protective of their wealth than others. Granted, society needs to have compassion but people have to take responsibility for their own lives and should be totally accountable for their own behavior. See? Now there's a paragraph I can relate to. BWHAHAHAHAHA! Then go confess to the cops about your stalking, about making false police reports, about being part of a criminal conspiracy of terrorism, harassment, and threats! Be accountable! Relate to accountability! Or do what you always do. Falsely accuse me of molesting children. |

SNIP EVERYTHING ! Abraham alert...DO NOT GET INVOLVED...they'll scuttle off eventually -- "A man walks into a cake shop and says 'Is that a macaroon or a meringue?' The assistant replies 'No, you're right. It's a macaroon.'" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Chick Murray...'nuff said.) |

"tm" wrote If you could tear yourself away from Rush Limbaugh long enough to read a book, you might find this - http://tinyurl.com/kkqx of interest, Pigo. That wasn't too hard to do. I listen to Rush about 2 hrs. per week. That left me with plenty of time to read an excerpt from an elitist that thought a job where you actually had to work was beneath her. She's much more interested in conning people into believing that honest work is demeaning. Besides she writes drivel, and there are some morons that will actually buy it. Not her fault. More power to her. Even a person with your vast angry personal wealth could probably afford it, and, who knows, might even change your way of thinking... You'll have to explain what my "vast angry personal wealth" is, how you know about it, what business it is of yours, what it has to do with my subsidization of other peoples choices, and how it fit's the thread. Oh shut up. You are Bob Thompson, right? Well known rec.skiing.alpine kook? Give me 30 minutes i'll find all sorts of information about you, your address, what you drive, who you sold coke to- without even leaving this ng. You put your life online, don't assume other people aren't paying attention, pathetic as your life may be. Couldn't be bothered reading another point of view, eh? Bob, it's an easy read, only took me a couple of toiletsits. Same as the average Rush Limbaugh book. I'll make a guess about you Bob. Your parents never wanted for money altho their parents might have struggled during the Depression. You have never wanted for food or lodging or transportation, you always had your parents to fall back on. You've never been hungry, you've never had to struggle to survive. You are the elitist you scorn. That's what makes your screeching about poor people robbing your tax dollars so hypocritical. Discuss. |

this address too. "tm" wrote in message ... Oh shut up. You are Bob Thompson, right? Well known rec.skiing.alpine kook? Bob, it's an easy read, only took me a couple of toiletsits. Same as the average Rush Limbaugh book. I read a couple of the excerpts on the web page. That was enough. It seemed arianna huffington like. That's all one needs to know to make it worthless (like her). In order of accusation: Wrong, Right (1) Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Right (2), Wrong, What do you mean by struggle (3)? 1. Didn't everyone struggle during the depression? Though my mom was raised in an orphanage. 2. As a supportive family structure, of course I would have had my parents to fall back on had I ever needed it. But that's only a supposition. And them on me too. Same goes for anyone I consider worthy. With family one doesn't have much choice. That goes for my elderly neighbors, friends, handicapped people that tip over in the street. That's called being a decent human being. 3. As for struggle? I've always been self reliant. Is it a struggle to get up (or stay up) and go to work? Sure. Have I ever had to juggle payments? Sure. Was I ever one of those goateed, snowboarder, homo's, from rich families that panhandle on the offramp before they go off for their wheat beer with lemon? NO! (It's funny, we were just laughing at them yesterday). I'm successful, but I've worked for it. I was lucky enough to move to Park City before it was discovered. Likeable and hard working enough that when good/fun jobs came up, people recommended me for them. It's not my fault that people that don't know how to dress, act, or speak somewhat intelligently, don't get the job. Anyone that replies "word" to any question, or says "ax" when they mean ask, or spells any plural with a "z", or has a kid, shouldn't wonder why they're "struggling". |

"pigo" wrote in message ... "Richard Walsh" wrote in message . 1.4... (snipped) The US doesn't have any kind of national health care, much to the dismay of my somewhat socialist POV. That's not exactly true. If you are disabled or unable to provide for yourself there are services to provide for you. Unfortunately if you are an illegal alien, have more kids than you can afford, are a worthless piece of ****, you also get taken care of. That is paid for by people like you and me that work and pay our own way as well. You're getting there then! In the UK, *everyone* gets free health care. There's a lot of bad things wrong with this country, but getting free health care ain't one of em. This is dishonest. There's no such thing as free health care (unless doctors work pro bono). |
