Old Running Shoe becomes a Three Pin Boot. . .
with duct tape! Also a piece window trim pine 1/8" thick x 3/4" wide
to cover the pins. Didn't even drill holes. I will post an "Instructable" (www.instructables.com) after I get it to work a second and third time. This method is of course not very stiff or water proof but it worked ok for around the block a few times. I have friends who want to try cross country skiing and I have several sizes of thrift store skis but boots not so much. Anybody else have improvised three pin boots experiences? As always thanks much in advance. Ed V |
