What does everyone thing about Bjorndalen's good run this year in the
world cup??

Doesn't he win every year? Isn't he the same guy who is so damn good
that he skied a leg on the Norweigian (sp) relay team at SLC?

no, Raphael Poiree wins (almost) every year.

World cup winner 1999/2000; 2000/2001; 2001/2002; 2003/2004
That lets only 2002/2003 to Bjoerndalen....

That's mainly because Bjoerndalen doesn't compete in all the biathlon WC
races. He always misses the ones that are on the same week of the X-country
WC races in the free thecnique, given that one of his main goal is to
become the first man to win a WC race in both biathlon and X-country.

In case Ole Einar did partecipate to all the biathlon WC races, he would
have a couple overall WC titles more. Poirée is just a regularist, he
almost never falls out of the top 5, but Bjoerndalen won many more races
than the French guy.

What about Pavel Hurajt, Ondrej Bilanenko, Julien Robert, Ricco Gross,
Tomasz Sykora?

Because Bjørndalen do not have so many bad shooting days.

Prexis, Frode seams to shoot like shorted shootgun but skiis nearly the
same as Ole-Einar. I've read something about Frode was defending himself
with that he shoots as good as Ole-Einar on training but have trouble
with competition.
Frode does one? good competition every year when he shoots well the rest
is more or less like a menourspreadmachine (sp/word? Swedish:
gödselspridare;-)
