FYI: Snowboard History for Boarders Only-1977-2/22/05
Our friend "LH" from this Group thought we should add the snowboard
history info to this Group. Many avid young and old boarders wonder today how did snowboarding ever started. The URL below will get you thinking. We've been boarding since 1981 and started with Jake Burton Carpenter and several friends at the Stratton VT Ski Area on shaky boards and still boarding at 84 years old (4/27/20). As Home Depot says, "You can do it, we can help" The problem then was not the boards.......but the aggravating loosie-goosie binding-boot connection. Sit back, get comfortable, turn on the music and enjoy snowboarding history 1977 to Feb 2005. http://www.the history of.net/history-of- snowboarding.html Kind regards........AJH |
