Default Hockey players make good skiers?

Pens v Sens game in double-ot. Having done a bit of both, I feel like solid edging in hockey can really help with skiing. Especially now with the big side-cut skis. My question is this: do I use regular candle wax, or WD40 on the bottom of my powder boards? Also, since I Rhino-Liner the tops of all my skis, can you recommend a good way to identify myself as an All Mountain Expert?

Turtle wax. I thought all the experts knew that. WD40 is for bicycle
chains.

A t-shirt is always appropriate. Forehead tattoos, while impressive, run
a certain risk -- especially if you're confined to a wheelchair.
