Munger Madness Day Two
The family helped me drop a car again on a nice sunny day in Carlton and then
dropped me in Moose Lake where I finished last night. I rolled from Moose Lake the 23 miles to Carlton in 2 and a half hours. There was another half mile section of the weird fine-grained chip seal I ran into near Hinckley. It was around mile 117. I was a little fried from yesterday, so today was a little bit of a chore, even with the sun shining. Saw 7 walkers and 4 bladers. The nice thing as the trail bent around from the North to the East is that the NW wind finally turned into a tailwind when I really needed it. And the finish into Carlton is pretty cool next to the 3 story piles of timber in the railroad yard. Smelled good anyway. Will try to finish downhill to Duluth tomorrow. 14 miles. About all I can handle I think. Then I will claim, until proven otherwise, that I'm the pioneer to Rollerski the whole trail in 3 consecutive days! (Gotta get your adventures where you can.)
