Alta/Snowbird in April

Just booked a trip to Alta/Snowbird the first week in April. What kind
of weather and conditions be expected?

It will be either warm or cold. And either wet or dry.

It's a good time to get good powder and less crowds though. You just
have to get up and get it early because the sunny stuff turns to ****
in one run.

I have regularly skied the second week of April and later at
Alta/Snowbird and have had all types of conditions. From powder to warm
spring skiing. You may have to time the morning thaw to get the best
snow if it froze up the night before. The combined Alta/Snowbird ticket
gives you more options.

Last year was probably the least amount of fun conditions I have
experienced there but it was still fun and not typical of my other
dozen or so trips that time of the year. I am heading out April 8th and
with the present base I expect to have a fun time. Enjoy!
