OTOH, Baldy is open with snow all the way down to the parking lot --
apparently a prerequisite for a not-crappy day. Next week...

The perfect day at Baldy is snow all the way down to the parking lot but no
lower, so that the trails and roads are both open.

That seems to be the case. Probably be different by next week, though :-(

Wonder if they'll have cleaned the parking lot porta-potty this year. I
think the contents last year were from the year before. How can you use
a john where the pile of paper and, um, other stuff is higher than the
seat? And we won't even talk about it being frozen...

The fact that they couldn't find anyone to do that job is one sign of
a good economy.

So, they'll have it clean this year?

Au Contraire. It's a sign of immigration enforcement. The economy has
been marginal for several months, and poised for recession. I had a 1/2
foot of light density blower on my Toyota today. Don't suppose you need
to brush the snow off your outfit in San Diego. Oh SNAP! That explains
the Mexican disparity. You still have plenty down there, don't you.

2x4? I wouldn't go inside that thing unless the guy was holding an
elephant gun on me, and even then I'd try to take it away from him first.

All knowledge is good. We didn't have to see that shot of you in your
baby-blue Speedo either.

Wait, can I retract my first statement?
