Default Telemark or Backcountry lessons at Whistler?

Is there a one or two day intro course given at Whistler? I'm expert at
downhill, but want to try free-heel...

Thanks...saw that, but it's only one day a week, and I won't be there on
Sunday!

Not sure this is what you are looking for but when I was at Whistler a
number of years ago (perhaps 8?), I tried to get Tele lessons from
their ski school. They tried to hand my wife and I off to someone who
did not even own tele skis. We had to wait a day so he could go borrow
some from his friend. Needless to say, we cancelled our lesson.

That said, we ended up going into one of the ski shops in the village
which sold Tele gear and asked about Tele lessons. The manager there
hooked us up with a local Tele Guide/Instructor who was happy to give
us private lessons for less money than the ski school. Not sure this
is still an option but you may want to look into it...
