Default Who says you can't ski in Texas?

12/31/07 at Pirate's Beach, Galveston Island. I didn't get a chance
to ask her what kind of wax she was using.

This is great news. Now, all Texans can stay in Texas and ski there.

Also, I recommend CH4 - I know it's a cold temp wax, but, it'll stand
up better to the abrasive sand snow conditions. Or Turtle wax would
be okay too.

Actually you're right, ish

Ch4 ( and even harder waxes) are what we use on dry slopes in the summer,
but I suspect Turtle wax contains abrasives to improve the shine so we use
'Back to Black', 'Mr Sheen' , cable pull through compounds or believe it or
not diluted washing up liquid.
