Default ski area in vt/nh

Anyone know a good spot for some people with mixed abilities?
My friend and I love the glades/tree skiing but most in the group going

prefer the wide cruisers.

We need some sort of "on mountain" accomidations, preferably half way
or all the way up with ski on and off access. We are hoping to get in
some beer fueled sledding when the lifts close, so being on the slopes
would be key.

I dont want to say price is no object, but we realy arent concerned as
we are all phish heads with no summer shows to look forward to, and
thus have a ton of cash to blow on a weekend.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

for the skiing ability of some of these guys, plus having to board a

typo alert.....what I meant to say was board a "plane".......in these
post 9/11 days, people can still get on the passenger areas of planes
with all types of stuff, but a little of the green in your luggage
brings the might of homeland security down on you hard and fast.....

No Problem... just buy some when you get there.

I've never been there but if Vail is like most other ski towns, finding
a ready supply shouldn't be a problem.

I have never had a problem taking a sled up onto the bunny slopes an
hour or so after slopes close.....of course, it has been MANY years, I
wonder if a bunch of early 30's guys look somehow shadier than when we
were 20......
