I found Sun Mtn boring and not well cared for on the side trails.
Rendezvous is mostly well groomed, has lots of climbing (1400' in 10k,
plus some downhill in the middle), and some fun downhills through the
forest, tho the road ski down on the nonvalley side is awfully damn
cold (balaclava recommended). I enjoyed the whole valley, depending
on my mood, especially up back around Mazama where it rolls a bit more.
The problem with Methow Valley is that there isn't much quickly
accessable rolling or varied terrain. Pretty much either straight up or
flat.
