Default Frs for canada

I am looking to but some FRSs for use in Canada. I found the Curtis FRS 1400
for $30 at sears :

The radio does not appear to have privacy codes. FRS radios are nearly
useless without them because the 14 FRS channels are overloaded. My
radios have 22 channels and 99 privacy codes.
