Karen, do you _have_ to post each question separately? All of these
could have been asked together and would probably have got a much
better response rate.

So, you want to go to France with your kids for a week in April and
want to know where is a good bet for snow, how cold it's likely to be
and how much it will cost?

OK, so someone's already suggested Flaine, which is a mid-priced
resort with a good late snow record and is very well set-up for
families. Prices will depend very much on who you go with, but
apartment rentals can be seen, with loads of other info, on
www.flaine.fr

What else would you like to know?

Karen,

I have always reckoned on £1,000 per head all in for skiers if you use a
package company. This can vary depending on the season. You indicate Easter
in this post but state in an earlier one a date of 9th April, which is after
Easter and will/should be a cheaper week.

Skipass: 160 Euro each
Skilessons: 160 Euro each
Skis + shoes: 100 Euro each
Food and drinks: As expensive you want it, cook your own meal or go to a
restaurant twice a day...
Flight: Check out Easyjet etc.

Try to take some skilessons at home.
