Default Alta lodges

I am interested in staying at one of the Alta lodges for a weeks
vacation - one that includes meals with lodging. My family includes my
wife and I and two kids ages 5 and 9 - Does anybody have advice as to
which of the lodges would be best for us? Thanks

The Goldminer's Daughter is the closest to the main lifts and was excellent the
last time I stayed there. Its proximity to the lift base makes it easy to head
in to your room a tlunch for a warmup or change of socks...there is a cafeteria
downstairs where a lot of people eat lunch. When we stayed there, our package
included breakfast and dinner, both of which were great. Not too fancy, but
good food and a small-lodge feel - almost like a B&B.
