Default Snowskate questions

Is it better for a big guy like me 6'1" tall and 200lbs to use a snowskate
with a

1) 6.5" wide by 33.5" long ski (gnu Danny Kass 03-04)or
2) 5.5" wide by 40" long (gnu Toronto)

So long and narrow ski or short and wide? Which will keep me above the snow
if any?
