One more Montreal XC query
When I recently asked about XC options in the N. Vermont to Montreal area I
got some good suggestions for Vermont (thanks Lew). But can anyone suggest a place to do a little XC in the Montreal area? I'd prefer untracked trails and something a little more challenging than a golf course if possible. I'd be staying in Kanawake just across the river from the city proper. TIA, a |

With the little snow we have right now, your choices will be very limited.
Most if not all trails on Montreal Island are closed or so icy they can't be groomed... The only place close to Kahnawake that I can think of is Mont St-Bruno provincial park (www.sepaq.com), with some groomed - tracked trails opened... BarryT "a" wrote in message ... BarryT Scary to think of Montreal with no snow in Feb... I won't be up there till later in March and I'm just doing the research in the chance that we might all get a 'late' winter. thx for links... a "a" wrote in message ...
