Default prior vs illuminati vs ???

I've never rode a Prior but I heard some great things.

I have rode the Ill's for 4 years now and the product keeps getting
better every year. You have to checkout the Hybricons, its something
different...a hybrid design(capped tip/tail board with sidewalls).

Take a chance, you wont be let down. Plus they are on sale right now.

My opinion might be a little biased since I work for the Ill, but our
customers, friends, and riders have nothing but good things to say.

Please read our reviews on the site.

Looked at the website and found the reviews to be a little one-sided.
Also the board descriptions seem to be very limited. Could you tell me
what's the difference between the Hybricon and the Pentagon? Capped vs
sidewall? The hybrid design might give the added durability on the
nose and tail as suggested, but how does it affect performance
compared to a normal sidewalled board? Noticed you boards have rather
short sidecuts, like Burton boards... that would make them good for
the park, but a sub-8 m sidecut seems rather short for a freeride
board... do you have more information on your dual progression
sidecut? The Illuminati secret's theme is stylish and all that, but it
would be nice if you were less cryptic about your board designs.

BTW, do you manufacture your own boards by hand, or do you subcontract
them out to a third-party factory?

It's a pretty low-content site, but at least they publish the stats. It
would really help if their FAQ section was really Frequently Asked
Questions instead of Every Single Question We've Ever Received.

Looks like the Pentagon is their freeride model and the Hybricon is more
freestyle - a little stiffer, narrower and less effective edge than the
Pentagon. I don't understand if the target market is different why all
the Pentagons are so wide. Not everyone needs a 26-26.5 cm waist for
freeriding.
