Default Final Climb Predictions

I'm doubly eager for the Final Climb stage in the Tour de Ski. On the
one hand, the placings are tight on both the men's and the women's
sides, the tightest so far in the Tour's history. On the other hand,
we can actually watch it more or less live this year. Sweet. My
thoughts on the race - with guesses at the podiums - over at my joint
blog: http://nordiccommentaryproject.blogs...edictions.html

(Again, apologies for linkbaiting...)

Go, Dario, go!

Default Final Climb Predictions

Interesting commentary somewhere this week about Frederick Aukland and
transforming the Swiss into a team. If Cologna keeps his head, it's
his, tho Teichmann is a good skater. OTOH, Kuitunen had to slow down in
the second lap today because her back acted up, or she'd probably be
leading by a minute. That's unusual for her in classic, but we remember
what happened last year on the hill, where she lost two minutes to
Kalla and more to others. What to make of Saarinen Saturday? I'd say in
these circumstances odds are with Saarinen or Madjic, tho I hope Virpi
holds up. Bjoergen seems to have lost too much time today.
