Chamonix & Megève
Hi there,
Me and my brother have booked a holiday to chamonix via geneva. We will be staying in Megève. From what I've read, Megève is a beginners to intermediate resort. Ideally we'd like to actually do most of our ski-ing in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Unfortunately it is not now possible for us to change our accommodation. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get from Megève to Chamonix Mont-Blanc, either by bus or ski-lifts, or a combination of the two? I heard that it was about a half hour ride on the bus from Megève to Chamonix Mont-Blanc. Also, with regards to ski-passes, I'm assuming we will have to buy a pass for the whole Mont-Blanc area? We are headed out around the middle of march. Does anyone know what the snow is like around Megève at that time of year? Thanks for any help Paul |
