should be great...I know so. cal just got dumped on, and Tahoe usually
gets twice as much.

I can't even go up to my local resort til Saturday because of work, but
I know it just went 100% operational for the first time in about 2
years. 24-48 of new snow in about 36 hours will do that. there was
already good coverage and a nice base last week when I went, so that
rocks. driving to work, there was as much white on the mountain range
as I've ever seen. my friends who went up yesterday said it was great;
today and possibly this weekend should be even better. I might go
Monday too, if it's really that good.

Tahoe or Mammoth next...decisions :-)

Was at Sugar Bowl today. A bit windy, but great snow. Great day. Freshies
everywhere... all day long.

Brian.

I am happy for you and envious. My week in the midwest started with -1F
temperature on Monday with rain, rain and rain the past three days, with
more rain coming. The weather has to be killing the midwest ski resorts.

Two weeks ago I spent a week in western Michigan visiting relatives and
friends. I also visited four ski resorts. If I had not taken that trip
I'd still be waiting to see any natural snow.

Dean
