Default Zermatt--New Riffelberg Express

We just got back from two weeks in Zermatt. We go back again in March. There
is a problem. The new 8 person gondola from Furi to Riffelberg is so good,
and so popular, that it is causing crowding problems at the Gifthittli
six-pack chair and worse problems on the run down from Riffelberg along the
tracks--The Gallery. The Gallery was always tough because it is steep and
narrow, and it begins with a one skier wide tunnel. There were actually
lines of skiers waiting to go through the tunnel. Of course it was
Christmas/New Year and the Village is aware of the problem. The good news is
that there is already talk of widening the Gallery
