Indeed, but having a 1+ mile drop is uncommon for a 1000 bed village mountain. |

But I'd add to it that it has to have enough bad-ass terrain to qualify. |

Many don't ski top to bottom in a single run at some of the mega resorts I've been too. Not sure I can handle more than 3000' vertical in a single run these days! |

See who makes it down first, and still has enough leg strength to do another. A good 10-15 minutes straight that you don't have to wait in line! |
