I'm a grasshopper going into my second snowboarding season, aided by the indoor
snow slope at Milton Keynes for a bit of practice. My question for today is,
how important is waxing the board and sharpening the edges, for someone like
myself who's still learning? Are these essential for someone at my level?

Definately a good idea - an unwaxed board rides like a slug!=20

....and the edges - if you experience any really icy slopes, you'll =
regret it if you don't have them sharpened! (there are many edging tools =
available out there)

Have fun.

Thanks for the info and tips, Andrew. Perhaps I'll pay on this occasion then
consider a home job next time. I don't want to f**k up my board so close to the
holiday!!
