More Fischer Lace problems

What did Fischer say when you called/wrote to politely inform
them of this?

I must be lucky. I have the Centrix boots but have had no lace issues. I have found that I do not need to lace them as tightly as other boots. Anyway..........so far, so good.

I am curious though, is it the lace that breaks, or the strap of cloth that the lace loops through that breaks? I want to be prepare for what may come next.
