Transport options for Masters World Cup 2008 in McCall, Idaho
Hi all, If anyone is familiar with the Boise - McCall area and knows of any bus/train companies that have regular services between these two places, I'd love to hear from you. Flying in for the MWC in McCall and the bus company mentioned on the website seems to run an irregular (and unreliable if you're not a group of 10 or more) service and searching the web hasn't turned up many other options. At the moment it looks like I might need to hire a car in Boise and keep it for a fortnight (probably unused) in McCall before driving back to Boise, as McCall is too small for the rental car companies to offer one-way rentals. Cheers, Chris Cole |

Cheers, Chris Cole Hey maybe we'll meet in McCall! Are you coming all the way from Aus? Big trip! Its the middle of the anitpodean summer too! Well done. I bet you'll be able to find a couple of other skiers in the boise airport who might split the car rental fee. Could be Amy & I? I think we arrive 2.28 Thursday 11:30am. I think everybody is in the same boat that way. JD the organizer had arranged a shuttle service too. Not too late to look into it. DT |

Cheers, Chris Cole See AXCS website FAQ re the McCall Masteres: http://www.xcskiworld.com/events_xc/Worlds/update.htm what intended for domestic skiers (USA), it has information on transportation. Better yet, look at the McCall World Masters website re transportation: http://www.mwc2008.com/travel.htm Edgar |

Cheers, Chris Cole I'm looking for transportation to McCall as well. I'm flying into Boise at 7pm on Feb 29th. I'd be happy to share expenses with anyone that can help. Rick Mitchell |

DT Hi, I ended up just booking a rental car for the entire fortnight. I'm arriving Feb 23rd, so unfortunately can't help out with sharing the ride. Sorry. :-) And yep, there are ten of us (i.e. insane Australians desperate for snow) coming to McCall for the MWC. See you there... Cheers, Chris Cole |
