Issue with 04/05 Flowbindings design - Highback catches boot on release
I have a set of PRO 5 SR Flow bindings and have an issue with the
design, the high back keeps on catching the back of the boot when I pull the high back down to release the boot from the bindings. I can't really find flow boots (UK) and they do not fit my feet and so had to get a pair of burton SL-9's. It seems that the 06/07 bindings have sorted this out could I use a set of high backs from the 06/07 on the 04/05 bindings or there is anything else I could do Any ideas would appreciated before I dump these bindings ;-). |

I modified a previous set of boots to work better with my flows. 5 minutes and an angle grinder and the boots went in and came out easily. I needed to smooth out a spot on the side that was interfering with smooth entry as well. My current set of boots (Burton Driver) do not have any issue. I haven't seen SL9's up close but Im assuming that would be your easiest solution. Steve. |

Thanks Steve I was thinking about that as a possible solution but
thought it would compromise the bindings, seeing that you have done it and it works I am going to do the same.
